The European Federation of Schools (FEDE)  is an international Non-Governmental Organisation benefiting from a participatory status with the Council of Europe.

Since 1963, the FEDE works on implementing and promoting the fundamental rights of education by federating universities and independent schools around a major purpose: creating a genuine European area for higher education.  This ideal takes shape thanks to concrete objectives:

• Enabling independent organisations to fit in a reliable institutional framework
• Provide qualifications and diplomas that meet the growing requirements of European institutions, student expectations and business needs.
